Moments Designers of The Year

	In recognition of the talent of young amateur fashion designers around Africa, the MOMENTS WITH MO: YOUNG DESIGNER OF THE YEAR CONTEST will be organised by Moments with Mo. The contest is designed to celebrate the individuality, diversity and creativity of the African youth by encouraging them to showcase their work. It aims at launching these new faces to the fashion industry and the public.
15 short listed young designers will take part in the grand finale with an opportunity to showcase a selection of their design work on the runway at a fashion show that will be organized exclusively for them.
So, do you have what it takes to be the Moments with Mo: Young Designer of the Year? If you are, then select a category that will best interpret your design work and send in 10 sketches in colour with a description of each piece and what inspired the work.
A selection of prizes includes the following: Opportunities to work with well known designers A return ticket to London by virtue of one of our sponsors, Virgin Nigeria Cash prizes ranging from $1000 to $ 3000 Entries are open in these categories:

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES IS AUGUST 31st, 2008. Industry professionals will judge the finalists at the Moments with Mo: Young designer of the Year contest.
