In many ways, ‘Moments with Mo’ is a first for the entire African world. It’s all about creating credible media driven platform through which we – as Africans – can effectively engage ourselves and the rest of the world.

Moments with Mo is a purpose-built vehicle designed to enable Africans and the rest of the world to come to an appreciation of our very rich and diverse culture and our achievements, as well as to know and understand us as a people.

Over the years, Mo has realized that the ultimate task facing us as a continent is to build and promote world class personas and brands, as well as to “showcase” the achievements of Africans within a global setting and economy. Our challenge is to credibly debunk the tendency of the western media to constantly and relentlessly portray us as the Dark Continent that can only be defined by what can be aptly described as the “6 D’s”: Disease, Despair, Destruction, Disaster, Destitution and Deceit.

Mo’s selected platforms for achieving the Inspire Africa vision include television, radio, publishing, merchandising, events, leisure and entertainment. However, her dramatic anchor project is the widely acclaimed TV talk show “Moments with Mo”.

Aired weekly, each episode of ‘Moments with Mo’ highlights the life and accomplishments of a, more often than not well known, but sometimes an undiscovered African individual who by her or his own tenacity and determination has accomplished sometimes, overcome something that makes her or him a role model to others.

The program is anchored and presented by Mo, who in the past few years has gradually become a household name and even a heroine to a wide range of African audiences.
